This is so typical of American — I’d rather walk than fly with them. Did I mention the time we spent 12 hours at Newark with two kids? Or the time my connecting AA flight didn’t wait for my first AA flight and I had to spend the night, on my own dime?

I flew AA once. Wish I’ve known better. Actually had a service rep try to help us, and another rep berate them right in front of us. I guess company moto is “we aim to displease, whatever it takes”.
They have never failed to amaze me with their lack of respect for the customer’s needs.
7. Retroactively change the spec and/or the product name. Once upon a time there was a search engine designed to find only Internet porn and let you gaze with lust upon the naked female form. Unfortunately, it let other search results through too, so they dropped the hyphen from “Go-Ogle”
It still does a pretty good job with its original purpose, Stu — but of course I wouldn’t know that.
