If you could start fresh…?

Probably not. Not because I don’t like what I’m doing — I do. But choices are conditioned as much or more on opportunity as on desire, and the opportunities would be different from that point forward than the ones that led me here.
But I could only hope for a life as good as the one I’m living.
How would you answer Max’s question?

Good answer Chip.. Dr Mark Albion who quit Harvard to go do what he loved more than the prestige and security of tenureship had a question I still have zinging in my head occassionally at decision points – are you making a living or making a life?
To follow Confucius “..give a man work he loves, & he’ll never work a day in his life” Living WELL is the biggest prize & sounds like you’re deep in the good stuff
Well, Max, there’s always room for improvement. No matter what you’re doing it can become stale unless you keep your eyes wide open for new adventures. Thanks for reminding me to do that.
