apotheon: well, at least it was a landmark for me. I expect it could be for others, too. My friend and mentor Ken Lidster appreciated it as well.
I’m always pleasantly surprised to find that people think excellent things about something I wrote. It’s what I’m really aiming for every time I write something — that and, of course, Changing The World. Money’s nice, too, but I tend to figure that’s a positive side effect that should arise naturally when I do a good job of writing.
I take it Ken Lidster doesn’t have a weblog . . . ?
Not yet, AFAIK. His company is still forming its blogging policy.
Let me know when he does, and be sure to remind me why I’m interested (because he’s your mentor) so I won’t wonder why you’re pointing me at some weird stranger guy. I want to see what he has to say.

Sorry I didn’t follow up on this sooner. Believe it or not, Ken asked my to define blogging. I was truly shocked. I wouldn’t hold my breath for him to begin, but then you never know how these things can start rolling.
