Hey fellow tag cloud inhabitants! I just posted another correction to the Jerome’s Keywords plugin over on Chip’s Tips.
This fix will only avert a future disaster for you if you intend to add tags that contain a single quote character (‘) and your server does not have the magic_quotes_gpc option enabled for PHP. In that case, the quote was not being escaped, resulting in a MySQL error when searching for the tag.
