Juice justification

August 2nd, 2006 8:58:44 pm pst by Sterling Camden

I felt kinda dirty after participating in Randy Morin’s Google Juice Pyramid Scheme the other day.

But, you know, just because it’s dirty doesn’t mean it’s not fun.

And really — were any animals harmed in the making of this film? No.

Does anybody lose their investment in this MLM program? No.

In fact, it doesn’t matter whether you put your name at the top or bottom of the list. Link love is link love, no matter how many times removed.

So who pays? The Google searcher, who gets our results ahead of everybody else’s.

But are we really gaming the system? I link to Randy quite often. There, I did it again! Does one more link change the game that much? Maybe. But will I link to him many more times in the future anyway? Yes. Same with Newsome. Same with Tracy.

Bottom line: there is a community here. If collectively it has credibility, then why not acknowledge that with a Google juice boost?

Rock on, fellow bloggers!

May the juice be with you.

    And also with you.

Go in peace, to love and serve the Google.

  3. Juice-stification wasn’t required ;-)

He he – that means a lot coming from you, Randy.
