   Loved the Fiore cartoon. Too bad it’s real.

   When I was in windows development, Petzold was de man. Still is.

     Yes, Petzold was my life-raft on the storm-tossed C. Nowadays, I really enjoy his weblog.

     I remember once back in the 90′s he was on a panel at SD West. A question from the audience was obviously framed to bait him into defending Microsoft. He responded, “Programming Windows is hard, and I don’t think MFC helps much.” I had to applaud his concise honesty.
