They should rename that pointing device the RSI Mouse.

Good god, I’ve been spending the last decade reducing my mouse usage. Now this.

I kept saying “This has to be a joke!” when I first stumbled across it on another site. My significant other kept assuring me it wasn’t.

Insane, I tell you. I cannot sufficiently describe how flabbergasted I am.

Does it run Linux or NetBSD?

Actually, come to think of it, I wonder if it runs Windows CE. It’s certainly more in line with the Microsoft theory of interfaces.

Criminy. I can’t get past how stupid that thing is.

. . . and why in the hell would I spend $75 for the privilege of slowing myself down to a crawl and giving myself nine different kinds of RSI in a single day?

It certainly seems to me like a counter-intuitive approach to intuitive interfaces.

I was thinking it was an intuitive approach to counter-intuitive interfaces. Maybe the answer’s somewhere in the middle: a counter-intuitive (but no less effective) approach to counter-intuitive interfaces.
