Judging by the frequency of mentions of me here in the last few days, I would probably get a lot of attention from you on a regular basis if I actually posted to SOB fairly regularly. Thanks for the links.
I’m surprised from time to time how many people come out in agreement with me on the subject of “intellectual property” law, but then, the “birds of a feather” principle probably applies.

Yes, given the open nature of communications on the web, we’re much more likely to draw a larger percentage of those who agree with us than ever before. Of course, you’d think the same would apply to drawing those that vehemently disagree.
To a lesser degree, sure — but confirmation bias effects (subconsciously seeking out echo chambers by virtue of the search terms you use and the links you click) must ensure a lesser percentage of people who disagree finding you than of people who agree, all else being equal.
True. Google isn’t smart enough yet to include search results that represent the opposite opinion unless it’s worded as a direct rebuttal to the phrase being sought.
