The one thing that I must say to the entire world
Sterling Camden
Riding on the face of our planet, circling a star on the edge of our galaxy hurtling through space — can’t we just stop and get directions?
That’s my response to Mark Dykeman’s latest meme, in which you send a message to the world in 150 characters or less. Link to Mark’s post (and this one, too, I hope), and tag ten people.
Let’s see — 10 laconic individuals that have something to say and who weren’t tagged already: Chad, Joseph, Cooper, Teeni, Robert, Assaf, Morgetron, Randy, Stu, and Tish. Your responses don’t have to be as serious as mine.

Excellent, thanks man!
Nice meme, dude.
Thanks for the tag!
You’re welcome, Joseph. Looking forward to your response.
Hope I didn’t disappoint!
BTW, not sure why individual posts are titled by the name of the theme. I need to dig around the theme files and fix that. ):
Great job, Joseph! That’s a message we always can use.
Re: title, if your theme is like most, it’s probably setting the title element in header.php.
I found the problem. It was a hardcoded title instead of a php call. Once I found what I needed (the code for bringing the post title) and even made a further refinement.
Cool!

This is a cool meme! I need to think about what I would say to the whole world. Uh-oh. I’m starting to get stage fright! LOL. Hmm – give me a few days but I will definitely participate!
Don’t sweat it, teeni — after all, you’ve been talking to the whole world for a while now on your blog.
Been away. I shall blog an answer saturday, OK?
Sure, Stu. No hurries, no worries.
[...] Sterling tagged me with a “one thing I must say to the world meme”. The original “rules” of this Internet chain letter limit me to 150 words or less. With the above statement, I hit almost exactly 150. Using wc shows 152, but it counts my elipsis points as individual words — so the real number is 149. [...]
I just noticed this one … I’ll work on this and get back to you.
I usually don’t do memes, but this one is creative … and a challenge.
I shall return.

I know how you feel about memes, especially when you get tagged for the same old “N things you don’t know about me” meme for the third time.
What I like about this meme is that it’s highly constrained, so it makes you think.
