Depite the yelling in the page title, this looks like one to watch.

Just like the temple at Aguateca.

Apparently “My” is spoken in the voice of Sun, rather than their users (via the CodeProject newsletter)

Congrats on the milestone, Robert! I briefly shot up to 220 myself one day, and then lapsed back to my usual 160-190. But I deeply appreciate every one of my subscribers. Thanks, folks!

In case you’re in need of a Do-It Yourself Tornado Kit. Thanks, BonkBonk.

I definitely want to see that movie about autism. Oh, and the Acme catalog? Too funny!
Yeah, that ACME catalog really brings back memories. Roadrunner was one of my favorite cartoons as a kid.
Do you have a family/friend connection to autism, teeni?
I’m really not happy with what is going on with MySQL. That being said I think it’s time I participated in the WordPress forums and see if there is support growing for PostgreSQL support. If so, it’s time to fan the flames a bit and see if WordPress will introduce support for Postgre. If so, perhaps it’s time to change.
I’m sure that WordPress could be tweaked to use PostgreSQL, if you were so inclined. I’ve heard good things about PostgreSQL, and not only from our mutual friend. I don’t think WordPress really taxes the abilities of MySQL, but perhaps if PostgreSQL became a more popular database option for WordPress, some plugins could be written to take advantage of its features.
Oh, it’s not a feature or performance issue I have with MySQL, it’s a Sun problem I have.
Personally, in the past I’ve found Postgre rather hard to deal with as compared to MySQL and most of the apps I’ve come across require MySQL so I’ve not learned anything about Postgre.

One can only hope, but in the meantime, I’d like to have alternatives ready when I need them as drop in replacements.
sorry for the double comment, I only thought of adding this when I hit add comment.
Thanks for both links, although not 100% reassured, I am feeling a slight bit better.
No problem, Joseph!
Thanks for the contribution, Chip! Oh, and what a gold mine that Acme catalog is – now I can finally catch that little rascal!
If nothing else, it’s a great source for illustrations for blog posts!
