GeoRSS is already an accepted extension to RSS (properly namespaced, of course).

For open XML formats for resumes, Randy Morin started a project called &lt;a href=&quot;http://resumebay.net&quot;&gt;Resumebay&lt;/a&gt; that claims to use open formats.  I don&#039;t think it offers that format embedded in an RSS subscription, though.

For instance, imagine if there was a standard for publishing resumes?  Can you imagine how cool it would be to find match jobs and qualified candidates?
